Overview
Expanded metal block work mesh is anti-crack reinforcement for brick and block masonry. It is placed at areas of high stress concentration, such as changes of wall section at door and window openings, to spread stresses into areas of low stress.
Cracking from temperature change, moisture movement and foundation settlement can be controlled with block reinforcement. The catalogue recommends the mesh in every second course. Different widths can be combined to suit any wall thickness.
ApplicationHorizontal mortar joints in masonry walls.
